Our Falcons led group C by beating Kazakhstan in the FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers

The national team won 71-68 away victory over Kazakhstan in their match on February 24, in their second match in the sixth group of FIBA Asian Cup 2021 qualifiers.
The national team led Group C with 4 points, after their second consecutive victory, where they won their first match against Sri Lanka 100-45.
Our Falcons star Fadi Ibrahim scored 27 points, while center Mohamed Shaher made an important contribution, scoring 19 points.
Twenty-four teams will participate in the finals, divided by six groups, each group consist of four teams facing each other by home/away system, first and second teams of group qualify directly to the finals, while the teams that will occupy the third place in their groups will play a complementary qualifying matches in February 2021, where the six teams will be divided into two groups, the first and second teams of group will qualify to the finals, which 16 teams will participate, although the host country has not been selected yet for the tournament.
The second window of the qualifiers will be held nine months from now, where the national team will play against Palestinie on 26 November, before heading to Sri Lanka to meet their team on the 29th of the same month. The third and final window, during which the national team will host Kazakhstan on February 19, and then the Palestinian team on the 22nd of the same month.
