Ahmad Al-Dwairi Undergoes Surgery in Türkiye

Amman, 21 September 2026 – Jordan Men’s National Basketball Team player Ahmad Al-Dwairi underwent surgery today, Monday, 21 September, to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and repair the lateral meniscus, under the supervision of Dr. Barış Kocaoglu at Acıbadem Altunizade Hospital in Türkiye.

The Jordan Basketball Federation confirms that Al-Dwairi will undergo a specialized medical and rehabilitation program during the coming period, in accordance with a dedicated treatment plan. The Federation wishes him a full recovery and a swift return to the basketball courts at his best physical condition, as he continues his career and represents the Jordan Falcons in upcoming competitions.

The Federation also appreciates the medical efforts made in following up on the player’s condition and reaffirms its full support for Al-Dwairi throughout his recovery and rehabilitation journey, wishing him a strong and safe return to the national team.
