Jordan Basketball Team Ends Nagoya Asian Games Campaign

The Jordan Men’s National Basketball Team concluded its participation in the 20th edition of the Asian Games, held in Nagoya, Japan, on Wednesday, after losing to South Korea 80–114 in the quarterfinals of the basketball competition.

The National Team had secured its place in the quarterfinals after finishing third in Group B with 4 points, earned from a victory over Qatar, alongside two defeats against Chinese Taipei and Iran.

Meanwhile, South Korea advanced to the quarterfinals after topping Group A with a perfect record and 6 points, following three consecutive victories over Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and Japan.

With this result, the National Team concluded its basketball campaign at the Asian Games, reaching the quarterfinals in its current participation at Nagoya 2026.
