‏Jordan team Continues Preparations for the Syria Clashes in World Cup Qualifiers

Amman, November 10 – The Jordan men’s national basketball team continues its intensive technical and physical preparations ahead of two highly anticipated matchups against the Syrian national team, as part of the first window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers. Both games will be played at Prince Hamzah Hall in Al-Hussein Youth City on Thursday, November 27, and Sunday, November 30.

‏The national team is training under the guidance of head coach Roy Rana, with 18 players : Mohammad Shaher, Ahmad Hamarsheh, Ahmad Hassouneh, Amin Abu Hawwas, Malik Kanaan, Akef Shayeb, Basel Abuaboud, Ali Kanaan, Fadi Qarmash, Yousef Abu Wazneh, Yazan Altawil, Adham Al Dajani, Michel Nafa’a,  Rawhi Kilani, Freddy Ibrahim, Abdullah Olajuwon , Hashem Abbas, Ahmad Al Dwairi. And Announcement on Naturalized Player will follow soon.

‏Speaking to the official website of the Jordan Basketball Federation, coach Roy Rana said:

‏“the group is working hard together to prepare for the Nov Window games. We are becoming a family of players who are committed together to build.”

‏The national team will open its qualifying campaign against Syria at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 27, before meeting again at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, with both games taking place in Amman.
