Our National U16 Boys and Girls 3x3 Prepare to Participate in the Asian Games

Amman, October 21 – Today, the delegation of our national U-16 Boys and Girls teams departs for the Kingdom of Bahrain in preparation for competing in 3x3 basketball at the 3rd Asian Youth Games “Bahrain 2025.”

The Boys national team delegation includes coach Fadi Yaghmour and players Michael Sahelyeh, Safwan Al-Qassem, Tarek Sahelyeh, and Abdulrahman Al-Adham, who replaced the injured Zafer Kayali. The Girls national team is coached by Noor Kayal and includes players Talia Halsa, Talin Habash, Salma Obeidat, and Tala Nabulsi.

The Boys team is placed in Group A alongside Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Chinese Taipei, and the United Arab Emirates, while the Girls team also competes in Group A with China, Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei, Iran, Uzbekistan, and the United Arab Emirates.

Both teams will begin their campaign the day after tomorrow, Thursday, with the Boys team facing Chinese Taipei at 9:25 a.m., followed by the women’s team meeting Chinese Taipei at 10:15 a.m. The Girls team will also play two additional games the same day — against Iran at 12:35 p.m. and Uzbekistan at 3:35 p.m.

All tournament matches will be held at the Umm Al Hassam Sports Hall in Bahrain.
