AMMAN, JORDAN – [Sept 8 - 2025] – The Jordan Basketball Federation (JBF) today announced the launch of the National Basketball Performance Center (NPC), a landmark initiative designed to revolutionize player development in the kingdom. This comprehensive program will be based at the iconic Hamzeh Sports Hall and partner facilities in  Amman. The JBF is also proud to announce it is actively seeking partners for expansion into Irbid.

The NBPC will be led by Performance Center Director, Fadi Yaghmour. The program will fully integrate three core pillars: Basketball Development, Athletic Development, Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy. This 360-degree approach is designed for all Jordanian National Team Members and Nationally and Internationally identified athletes across all female and male age groups, for both 5on5 and 3x3 basketball, ensuring every national team player is technically skilled, tactically proficient, physically resilient, and mentally prepared for international competition.

"This initiative is a cornerstone of the Federation's long-term strategy for sustainable success from the grassroots to the elite level," said [Roy Rana], Sr Director Basketball Operations of the Jordan Basketball Federation. "From our youngest 3x3 prospects to our senior FIBA team, every athlete male and female wearing the Jordan jersey will have access to this aspirational world-class program. Furthermore, our planned expansion into Irbid is a critical step in decentralizing excellence and ensuring talent from across the entire country can reach its full potential."

Performance Center Lead Coach Fadi Yaghmour will oversee the program's technical operations. "Our mission is simple: to support every national team player. This program provides the tools for athletes in every discipline and every age category to improve. We are building a true basketball pipeline, and we are excited to begin this journey at Hamzeh Hall and, very soon, with our future partners in the north in Irbid," stated Yaghmour.

The program's comprehensive model will include:

*   Skill Development-applying international player development curriculum and video analysis technology.
*   Basketball-Specific Strength & Conditioning programs.
*   Integrated Sports Science offering physical therapy, injury prevention ("pre-hab"), and recovery services.

The JBF invites interested corporate and community partners in Irbid to join this visionary project to build a northern hub for basketball excellence.
