Dr. Craig Slaunwhite Appointed Director of High Performance for JBF

Amman – The Jordanian National Basketball Federation (JBF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Craig Slaunwhite as its new Director of High Performance. A globally recognized expert in elite sport performance, Dr. Slaunwhite brings over 16 years of experience working with world-class athletes and organizations across the NBA, NHL, and KHL.
Dr. Slaunwhite has served in senior leadership positions with the Sacramento Kings (NBA), Columbus Blue Jackets, Florida Panthers, Winnipeg Jets (NHL), and SKA St. Petersburg (KHL). His work has spanned strength and conditioning, sport science, nutrition, rehabilitation, leadership development, and integrated team systems—all focused on optimizing athlete health and maximizing performance.
As Director of High Performance, Dr. Slaunwhite will lead the development and integration of high-performance strategies across the JBF national teams. His role will include supporting coaches, overseeing athlete development and medical services, and driving a performance culture to elevate Jordanian basketball on the international stage.

Dr. Slaunwhite holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University. He continues to conduct research at the university level and works privately with high-performance athletes worldwide.
