Jordan Basketball Federation is seeking passionate, experienced, and forward-thinking Assistant Coaches to join the coaching staff of the Senior Men’s National Team as we prepare for the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, this summer. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a historic campaign on the international stage and help shape the future of our nation’s basketball legacy.
About the Role:
As an Assistant Coach, you will work closely with the Head Coach and support all aspects of team preparation, strategy, and player development. Your expertise will be critical in building a cohesive, competitive roster capable of excelling at the FIBA Asia Cup and beyond. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in designing and implementing training programs, game strategies, and scouting plans.
- Mentoring and developing elite athletes to maximize individual and team performance.
- Collaborating on tactical adjustments, in-game decision-making, and player management.
- Fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and sportsmanship.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience coaching at the elite/professional or national team level.
- Strong technical knowledge of international basketball (FIBA rules and competition standards).
- Leadership skills to inspire athletes and thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Flexibility to travel and commit to pre-tournament training camps, competitions, and debriefs.
- Certifications in coaching (e.g., FIBA, NCCP, or equivalent) are preferred.
