Our national Under-16 basketball team will face the Malaysian national team tomorrow, Thursday, at 11:30 AM in the Al Gharafa Sports Hall in Doha, as part of the qualification round for the quarter-finals of the Asia Cup.

The winner of the match between our team and Malaysia will meet the reigning champion, the Australian national team, tomorrow, Friday – with the exact timing to be determined – for the quarter-final round. Meanwhile, the losing team will exit the continental championship.

Our national team secured the second spot in their Group Three with 5 points, including victories against Bahrain (85-44) and South Korea (62-59), and a loss to New Zealand (45-119).
