The national under-15 team defeats Puerto Rico in the World Cup to challenge skills
Amman - The national under-15 team, led by coach Mohammed Hamdan, started its campaign in the World Cup for Skills Challenge, by defeating Puerto Rico by 125 points to 127.
The competition is based on the individual skills of the players, and the factor of its result includes the time it takes for the player to successfully complete all the required skills, so that the total points are calculated by subtracting the time taken to complete the skills from the number of points scored for the team, and the one who achieves the lowest score wins the match.
The national team players collected 28 points in 153 a second, while the Puerto Rican players collected 25 points in 152 a second of play. The national team represented the players: Zaid Fanous, Muhammad Hamdan, Lotfi Khader, Omar Salman, Michel Nafaa, Ahmed Adilat, Rawhi Kilani and Basil Khawaldeh.
The national team needs to win one of the matches between Guinea and Andorra on the 16th and 18th of this month, in order to qualify for the round of 16 from Group G, where the first and second of each of the eight groups qualify for the playoffs.
