The national under-15 team begins its World Cup campaign to challenge skills

Amman - The national team for juniors under 15 years of age began today its journey in the finals of the Basketball World Cup "Skills Challenge", which is organized by the International Federation, with the participation of 32 teams distributed into 8 groups, with 4 teams in one group.
The national team is in Group G along with Andorra, Puerto Rico and Guinea, while Group A includes teams (Bulgaria, Lebanon, Ecuador, Morocco), Group B (Lithuania, China, Dominican Republic, Cameroon), and Group C (Poland, Australia, Panama Group D (Spain, Iran, Virgin Islands, Estonia), Group E (Belarus, Mongolia, Argentina, Albania), Group F (Zionist entity, New Zealand, Venezuela, Madagascar), Group Eight (Serbia, Syria, Egypt, El Salvador).
The first and second of each group qualifies for the round of sixteen, where the first group (A) plays with the second group (B), the second group (A) with the first group (B), and in this way over all groups, with the winners playing with the winners of the two groups (C,D) in the quarter-finals, then the winners qualify to play with the winners of the groups (E,F,G,H) in the semi-finals, passing through the role of determining the places and the final round.
This competition is based on individual skills, which are represented by the player passing through several stations, including: passing in a narrow circle, shooting from various distances, and dribbling the ball, and the calculation of its result is included in the factor of the time it takes for the player to successfully complete all the required skills, provided that the total points are calculated By subtracting the time taken to complete skills from the team's score.
The results of the finals will begin to be published on October 14, in which the national junior team begins its journey against Puerto Rico in the “Skills Challenge”, and whoever achieves the lowest result wins, then it will face Guinea and Andorra on the 16th and 18th of the same month.
